Privacy Policy

Last updated May 6, 2026

WorryJar is designed for private reflection. Your worries are stored on your device unless you choose to use features that require Apple or RevenueCat services.

Information We Handle

WorryJar may handle the following information:

How Information Is Used

We use information to provide the app experience: saving worries, showing reflections, locking worries, scheduling reminders, transcribing voice input, translating text, restoring purchases, and improving app reliability.

Local Storage

Your saved worries and app preferences are stored on your device using Apple storage technologies. WorryJar does not run its own server for your journal content.

Voice Input

If you use voice journaling, WorryJar requests microphone and speech recognition access. Audio is used to create text.

Notifications

If you enable notifications, WorryJar schedules local reminders such as lock expiration alerts. You can change notification access in iOS Settings.

Third-Party Services

WorryJar uses:

These services process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

Payments

Payments are handled by Apple. WorryJar does not receive or store your full payment card details.

Data Retention and Deletion

Worries remain on your device until you delete them or remove the app. You can revoke microphone, speech recognition, and notification permissions in iOS Settings.

Children

WorryJar is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Wellness Notice

WorryJar is a self-reflection tool. It is not medical care, therapy, diagnosis, crisis support, or emergency service. If you may harm yourself or someone else, contact local emergency services immediately.

Changes

We may update this policy as WorryJar changes. The latest version will appear on this page with a new update date.
